By proceeding with your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
1.1. All spectacles are made to order according to the customer’s specific requirements, including but not limited to, prescription details, frame selection, lens type, and any custom modifications.
1.2. Due to the bespoke nature of these products, orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
2.1. A non-refundable deposit of at least 25% (minimum deposit £100) is required at the time of order placement.
2.2. This deposit secures your order and will be deducted from the total cost of the spectacles.
2.3. The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to order cancellation by the customer, change of mind, or dissatisfaction with the product unless the product is found to be faulty (refer to Section 5: Faulty Products).
3.1. Upon placing an order and paying the deposit, you will receive an order confirmation outlining the details of your purchase.
3.2. The remaining balance must be paid in full when the spectacles are collected. We accept payment by cash, card, cheque or bank transfer.
3.3. Failure to make payment within 28 days of the due date or non-collection of goods may result in the matter being referred to P&J CDS our debt collection agents whose charges will be added to and payable with the invoice debt.
4.1. The estimated delivery or collection time for made-to-order spectacles is 1-2 weeks from the date of order confirmation.
4.2. We will notify you when your spectacles are ready for collection. Please note that delivery times are estimates and not guarantees.
5.1. If your spectacles develop a fault, you must notify us as soon as possible.
5.2. We will assess the fault and, if confirmed, offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
5.3. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
6.1. In the event of non-tolerance to a prescribed pair of glasses, we will re-check your prescription and at our discretion will rectify or refund as appropriate.
6.2. Should the non-tolerance require a change of lens parameters other than a prescription change, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the original lenses that were supplied.
7.1. Any changes to the order after production has begun may incur additional charges, depending on the extent of the alterations.
7.2. Requests for changes will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and we reserve the right to refuse changes if production has progressed beyond a certain point.
8.1. As the spectacles are made to order and customised to your specifications, we are unable to accept returns or cancellations, except in the case of faulty products as outlined in Section 5.
8.2. In exceptional circumstances, and at our discretion, we may offer a partial refund. However, the non-refundable deposit and any costs already incurred in the production process will be deducted from the refund amount.
9.1. Our liability is limited to the value of the order. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use the spectacles.
9.2. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused by delays in the manufacturing process or the delivery of the spectacles.
10.1. Your personal information will be collected, stored, and used in accordance with our privacy policy. We will only use your information for the purpose of fulfilling your order and providing aftercare services.
10.2. We do not share your personal information with third parties except where necessary to complete your order or as required by law.
11.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
11.2. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
