As independant opticians, at Walford & Round we are free to choose which suppliers we use for our frames, and we always aim to have a broad range of frames on our shelves to suit all tastes and budgets. If you have seen a frame that you like elsewhere, either in another shop or simply being worn by a celebrity, because we deal with most of the major spectacle frame manufacturers we can often get the frames in for you to try with no obligation to purchase them.
In addition to the latest designer frames from Gucci, Armani and Prada, we have a selection of frames from less well known manufacturers, which we have individually selected to give our patients a greater variety than would otherwise be encountered. Continuing with the international theme, we are also stockists of the Convertibles range of frames, which originate in Australia. Sun protection is important the world over, but with their slightly better climate it's no wonder the Australians beat us to this invention. Each frame is supplied with a custom made clip-on polarised sunglass, which fits exactly to the shape of the lenses, and is secured onto the frame by a couple of magnets on each temple. The frame styles have been cleverly selected to look their best both with, and without the clip-on in place. |
