We normally have a wide range of their frames in stock, but if you see one on their websites, we can easily obtain that as well.
ProDesign - Our practices have recently started stocking frames made by this Danish company. With their extensive range of colours and styles, and all frames made to the highest quality, we feel that there really is something for everyone. The frame browser on their site gives some idea of the variety available, and we would be pleased to acquire any frame for your viewing at no obligation.
The Luxottica Group - If you're looking for spectacles with a designer label on them, the Luxottica group is a good place to start. Chanel, DKNY, Moschino and Versace are just some of the designer ranges that we stock from Luxottica, and if you see something you like that isn't listed, we may be able to order it in for you to have a look at, at no obligation to you.

Lens ManufacturersCarl Zeiss - Our superior quality varifocal lenses are all supplied by Carl Zeiss. Their website features demonstrations of various visual conditions and the improvement that can be gained with their specialised tinted lenses.
Essilor - Manufacturer of Varilux® brand varifocal lenses, and supplier of Transitions® lenses. We are proud to be both Varilux and Varilux Ipseo specialist opticians.
Seiko - Seiko Optical distribute both Seiko and Pentax lenses within the UK. They have recently launched a varifocal where the power-change happens inside the lens, rather than on the front surface as is traditional. This design, the P-1SY, gives a wide field of view and makes for easier adaptation to varifocals.
Contact LensesAcuvue lenses (Johnson & Johnson) - Acuvue contact lenses are a premium brand, and, with the arrival of 1-Day Moist contact lenses, offer exceptional comfort throughout the whole day. Acuvue Oasys lenses extend similar technology to a 2-week disposable lens.
Bausch & Lomb - Suppliers of PureVision lenses, which can be worn for 30 days continuously, including overnight wear. These lenses are now available in a Toric form, suitable for patients with Astigmatism.
Ciba Vision - The alternative to Purevision for overnight wear is Focus Night and Day, provided by CibaVision. They also manufacture a range of coloured contact lenses for changing the colour of your eyes, from subtle highlights to complete colour changes.
Coopervision - Now a manufacturer of many different types of contact lenses, they are one of the few manufacturers to offer novelty contact lenses such as cats eyes. They also market the Proclear Multifocal
Sauflon - Providing a range of contact lenses, including the increasingly popular NewDay daily disposable lens, which incorporates a UV blocker to protect the eyes.
Professional BodiesAssociation of Optical Professionals (A.O.P.)
Similar to a trade-union for optometrists, the A.O.P. produces guidelines to promote high standards of practice
amongst optometrists, and also represents optometrists in dealings with parliament and local authorities. All of
our Optometrists are registered with the A.O.P.
College Of Optometrists
All optometrists that wish to practice in the UK have to pass examinations that are administered by the
College.
General Optical Council (G.O.C.)
The General Optical Council control the registration and training of optometrists. They aim to
protect the general public, and ensure high standards of practice.
